The Gouda cheese market runs every Thursday morning from 10:00am - 12:30pm from mid-June to August, and farmers from throughout the region to have their cheese weighed, tasted, and priced. Beyond the cheese market, the city is home to the largest church in the Netherlands, the Grote or St. Jans Kerk, the Verzetsmuseum, and the Gouda Museum.
