This mostly pedestrianized street is the hub and main commercial district of Gibraltar and known as the “Shopping Center of the Mediterranean.” Main Street is an eclectic mix of architectural styles, from Portuguese and Spanish to Moorish and British. At the northern end of Main Street you will find Grand Casemates Square, once the center of public executions but today the focal point of Gibraltar night life.
