The famous bronze bull statue is a landmark in New York City's Financial District situated in Bowling Green Park and is said to symbolize nearby Wall Street. The Charging Bull was sculpted by Arturo Di Modica after the 1987 Stock Market Crash and installed two years later by the artist. It weighs more than 7,000 pounds, measures 11-foot tall by 16-foot long and is one of New York City's most popular tourist attractions.
