Carpenter's Hall was built from 1770-74, designed by architect Robert Smith and continuously owned by the country's oldest trade guild The Carpenters' Company of the City and County of Philadelphia. It welcomes more than 150,000 visitors per year and was designated as a U.S. National Historic Landmark.
