Transportation and national park passes were included, which made things easy. Great variety of winter scenery from Banff viewpoints to Kootenay’s Marble Canyon — such a scenic tour.
Traveling by VIA Rail made the whole Rockies experience feel dreamy. Plenty of scenic photo stops, comfortable transport, and national park admissions included. Jasper to Vancouver train leg was a comfy way to end the tour.
The winter lakes and mountains of Banff are absolutely worth the visit. Rachel advised us to bring slip‑on ice grips, which made walking to the lake for photos much safer. Natural Bridge and Emerald Lake were both unique. Though busy, the photo spots were well spaced, so we still had a great experience.
a really good time in Banff!!
Had a really good time in Banff!! The hotel is nice and tidy. And special thanks to Driver Joe, Tour Guide Michael and Alston, especially when telling us stories about the spots we’re going to. Very useful information! Will consider coming back when canoeing at Lake Louise with candle ice is available.
