More than 20,000 aquatic animals including sharks, rays, eels, jellies, rock fish, flat fish, sea stars and otters reside at this 50,000-square foot facility located at Fisherman's Wharf on Pier 39. The site established in 1996 attracts more than 600,000 visitors per year and contains more than a million gallons of filtered water from San Francisco Bay.
