Best April 25th Bridge Day Trips & Things to Do

This iconic bridge is one of the most photographed sites in all of Lisbon, and can be viewed from numerous points throughout the city. Spanning the wide Tagus River, this suspension bridge is often compared to San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge, and is one of the longest in all of Europe. While there is no pedestrian access on the bridge, visitors can get excellent views of the city by taking a car or train ride from the north side of Lisbon to its south banks. Many of the city's most famous sites can be seen from here.
