7-Day Palawan Tour: Puerto Princesa to El Nido

Upon arrival at Puerto Princesa (preferably arrive before noon), you will be met from the airport and transported to your hotel. Afternoon proceed for a half day sightseeing of Puerto Princesa. This sightseeing tour aims to show you within few hours the main landmarks of Puerto Princesa city. Puerto Princesa is the capitalof Palawan province and serves as main gateway to visitors that are on their way to visit Underground River, El Nido and San Vicente. This tour will take you along a route passing the City Hall, the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, the Boulevard, the Eulalia Park and the Plaza Cuartel, a restored ruin of a Japanese military base built during the World War II. The tour continues to Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center (formerly known as Crocodile Farm), where you can see the captivating reptiles,ranging from babies to full-grown giants. Apart from crocodiles, the center takes care of other animals, some of them endemic to Palawan Island. After the Crocodile Farm, you will be taken to Mitra’s Ranch for a panoramic view of Puerto Princesa and Baker’s Hill where you can enjoy the beautiful garden landscape and taste local delicacies. Last stop will be at the traditional Weaving Factory in Binuatan. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

This morning you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to Honda Bay island-hopping tour. The bay consists of several islets with shallow reefs, bordering fabulous beaches. With this tour you will visit LuLi Island (Lulubog Lilitaw Island), Cowrie Island and Starfish Island where you can swim, snorkel and sunbathe -the islands to be visited may vary, depending on weather and sea conditions. After the tour return to your hotel. 6.30pm you will be taken to Iwahig River for Firefly watching tour. Firefly watching is one awesome experience that is not being done by some day tourists who usually ends up spending their day on island hoping and diving and other water activities. You will board the boat to go to the firefly watching area. Once in the site, you may be able to feast your eyes with the glimmering lights from the fireflies that have become the main attraction in the place. Like Christmas lights filling up the darkness of the night. After dinner you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Today you will be taken on a full day trip to the Subterranean River (or Underground River), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. The river is located about 2 hours drive from Puerto Princesa. Upon arrival at Sabang town, hop on a park-operated paddleboat, and wind your way down the Puerto Princesa Underground River. A journey through the caves is more than worth it for the underground river, the impressive stalactites, and the awesome rock formations. Optional Activities: Climbing Ugong Rock and try the zipline. The fee can be paid directly on the spot.

Today you will be transferred to El Nido by private van. The driving time from Sabang to El Nido is approximately 5 hours. Upon arrival in El Nido proceed to your hotel. Check into your room and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

You will be collected from your hotel and taken on a full day island hopping in Bacuit Bay, El Nido. Discover El Nido and go snorkeling and swimming in the clear waters of the beautiful Bacuit Bay. You will visit the following attractions: Big Lagoon, 7 Commandos Beach, Secret Lagoon, Small Lagoon and Shimizu Beach. A picnic lunch will be served at the beach. After the tour, we'll transfer you to your hotel.

You will be collected from your hotel and taken on a full day island hopping in Bacuit Bay, El Nido. You will visit the following islands: Hidden Beach, Matinloc Shrine, Talisay Beach, Secret Beach and Helicopter Island. A picnic lunch will be served at the beach. After the tour, we'll transfer you to your hotel.
