Add a couple of major fires that devoured the city, (as well as many of it's inhabitants), numerous hurricanes, wars, yellow fever epidemics and a murder rate that was high over the next hundred years, and you have excellent conditions for ghosts and hauntings. Departure time and location: 2:30pm at Lafayette Cemetery (1400 block of Washington Avenue between Coliseum St and Prytania St)(Please arrive 30 minutes prior to tour departure time) This tour runs daily with the exception of Mardi Gras Tuesday.
