The bus takes us to Mt. Fuji 5th Station, situated at 2,300 meters (7,546 ft) above sea level. Enjoy breathtaking views from above the clouds. Enjoy a lunch of sukiyaki at a restaurant near Lake Kawaguchi. After that, participants can explore Lake Kawaguchi freely. Experience bathing in natural alkaline hot spring baths at Benifuji no Yu. The popular outdoor bath even offers a view of Mt. Fuji. If you want to go shopping, Gotemba Premium Outlets is a good choice. Gotemba Premium Outlets is one of the largest shopping centers in Japan. Enjoy shopping with Mt. Fuji in the background at this huge outlet mall. Last participants return to near Shinjuku Station West Exit by bus. Fuji 5th Station (30 min) The 5th Station is situated at 2,300 meters (7,546 ft) above sea level. Enjoy breathtaking views from above the clouds. If the Fuji Subaru Line to Mt. Fuji's 5th station is blocked due to road surface freezing, accidents, or weather conditions, the tour will be taken to the highest elevation point possible. No alternative destinations are planned when the tour reaches beyond the 1st station. When the tour has to turn back at the 1st station, or when the Fuji Subaru Line is completely blocked, the tour will visit Fujisan World Heritage Center or Oishi Park. Please note that an alternative itinerary may also be omitted depending on road conditions. Due to weather conditions, Mt. Fuji may not be visible even from the base. However, the tour will not be cancelled and refunds will not be given for this reason. Lunch (50 min) Fuji Chobo no Yu Savor a lunch of chicken sukiyaki at Okariba. A miniature steam locomotive train will carry the meal to you. Please inform us when booking if you would like a vegetarian meal. Changes may not be made on the day of the tour. The contents and location for lunch may change depending on the dining venue operation circumstances. In such cases, please note that the walk near Lake Kawaguchi may be omitted. Fuji Chobo no Yu (60 min) This is a natural, mildly alkaline hot spring. The popular outdoor bath even offers a view of Mt. Fuji. *Participants with tattoos cannot use the baths. Towel rental at the hot spring is available free of charge. Towels must not be wrapped around the body when entering the hot spring baths. Swimsuits are also not allowed. Yamanashi Prefecture regulations prohibit people with tattoos from bathing in hot springs. Please note that participants with tattoos may not be allowed to enter the baths. Taking photos in the hot spring is prohibited. For those who prefer not to try the hot spring baths, enjoy taking a relaxing rest at the onsen facility with your choice of 1 drink or 1 dessert provided. In such a case please notify the National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter while on the bus. Walk near Lake Kawaguchi (20 min) Enjoy free time to stroll around Lake Kawaguchi. Gotemba Premium Outlets (120 min) Gotemba Premium Outlets is one of the largest shopping centers in Japan. Enjoy shopping with Mt. Fuji in the background at this huge outlet mall. Participants may also leave the tour at Gotemba Premium Outlets. In such cases, customers must head to their next destination on their own. There is no shuttle service. For those who would like, please indicate so in the free entry field at the time of reservation. Depending on traffic conditions, time spent at the outlet may be reduced to less than 120 minutes. The tour will not be cancelled and refunds will not be issued for this reason. 19:30 - 20:00 Near Shinjuku Station West Exit Tour ends after arrival.
