Washington Statue Map / Location

Situated at the center of the Eakins Oval traffic circle stands a bronze statue of Founding Father and U.S. President George Washington. From atop a war horse Washington's statue stares forward at the Philadelphia City Hall. The design of his face was based on an impression made while he was still alive. Below the statue are a series of fountains and sculptures depicting Native Americans and animals native to the U.S., including bears, buffalo, and elk.
