Battleship Missouri Memorial Map / Location

The World War II battleship known as the ""Mighty Mo"" built in New York Navy Yard in Brooklyn was commissioned in 1944 was the site of the where the Japanese surrendered on Sept. 2, 1945 to end the war. The 58,000-ton 900-foot long USS Missouri Memorial was the last United States battleship ever constructed and today sits in Pearl Harbor for visitors to explore and contains exhibits on itself, World War II and other American wars.
