The Palisades Map / Location
These scenic cliffs that are a United States Natural National Landmark stretch 20 miles from Jersey City to near Nyack, New York. The Palisades were first noted on a map in 1541. The cliffs were prominently featured in the 1914 film sequel "The Perils of Pauline." They are part of Palisades Interstate Park that includes Bear Mountain State Park and Harriman State Park.
