Qorikancha Map / Location

Dedicated to the Inca Sun God Iti, Qurikancha rests in the historic Inca capital of Cusco. During the Spanish invasion, conquistadors demanded a ransom of gold from the Inca Empire and the majority of gold was take from the walls and decorations of Qurikancha. They also constructed the Church of Santo Domingo atop the temple's foundations, which still stand today.
