Peggy's Cove Map / Location

This quaint fishing village along St. Margaret's Bay in Nova Scotia is home to the historic Peggy's Point Lighthouse that began operating in 1868. Peggy's Cove was established in 1811 and there are several versions of how the community received its name including one about a young girl who washed up on shore after a shipwreck. Points of interest are St. John's Anglican Church, William E. deGarthe Provincial Park and the nearby Swissair Flight 111 Memorial in The Whalesback.
