Hemingway Memorial Map / Location

Facing the Bay of Cojimar and across from the fortress of Torreon de la Chorrera stands the bronze bust of the Ernest Hemingway. As the fishing village of Cojimar inspired his novel "The Old Man and the Sea," the village unveiled the memorial one year after his death, using the bronze from old propellers, chains, and anchors found in the bay for the material.
