Echo Park Map / Location

This trendy neighborhood in Central Los Angeles is named after its scenic lake of the same name. Echo Park slowly grew in population during the 1880s being mostly farm and ranch lands prior to that. Its hugely popular annual Lotus Festival has recently returned. Current and former Echo Park residents include artist Jackson Pollock, film director John Huston, musician Frank Zappa, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and actor Shia LaBeouf.
