Bouleutḗrion Map / Location

This council house contains the altar of oaths where the ancient Olympic athletes swore to obey the rules decreed by the Olympic Senate. The Bouleuterion is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ancient Olympia, the site of the original Olympic Games on the Peloponnese peninsula, which is a complex of temples and public buildings and home to the actual stadium of the first Olympics.
