Atomium Map / Location

Originally constructed for the 1958 Brussels World's Fair, the Atomium is a structure replicating the shape of a unit cell of an iron crystal. It was designed by engineer Andre Waterkeyn and architects Andre and Jean Polak. It was completed in 1958 and went under renovations in 2004, until it reopened in 2008.
