Agua Azul Map / Location

A neighbor of the waterfall Misol-Ha, Agua Azul rests on the route from Palenque to San Cristobal, Mexico. Rather than flowing vertically, the waters fall over a series of torrential cascades. Due to the mineral content of the limestone bed, the waters of the falls turns a bright turquoise that contrasts with the surrounding green valleys.
