From Galway it is only a short drive along the coast to the Burren, one of Ireland's great natural treasures. This is a land of limestone pavements, barren hillsides, rare flora, early Christian settlements and ancient stone monuments. We'll spend most of the morning exploring this unique area, stopping in one of the pretty local villages for lunch.
After lunch we'll visit the stunning Cliffs of Moher, dropping almost 700 feet straight down into the Atlantic. Here you can walk the clifftop trails, watch the numerous seabirds or visit the award-winning environmental exhibition. From here we'll travel east to Dublin, arriving at around 7:00pm.
