Day 01

Arrival in Lucerne

Lucerne, the gateway to central Switzerland, sited on Lake Lucerne, is embedded within an impressive mountainous panorama.

Individual travel by train to Lucerne. Exciting mountain excursion to the Pilatur or the Stanserhorn (optional tours) or exploration of the picturesque city of Lucerne. Overnight in Lucerne.

Day 02

Lucerne - Interlaken Express

Breakfast at the hotel. Journey with the Lucerne-Interlaken Express in the panorama carriage to Interlaken. Breathtaking mountain excursion in the afternoon to the Jungfraujoch, the highest train station in Europe at 3,454 metres above sea level (optional tour). Overnight in Interlaken.

Tips:: Panoramic journey with the Lucerne-Interlaken Express. From Lucerne you travel along lake Alpnach, Sarnen and Lungern to Interlaken.

Breakfast at the hotel. Travel from Montreux to Zermatt. Zermatt lies at the foot of the Matterhorn and offers plenty of things to explore. Enjoy a leisure day on your own and don't miss out an excursion to the Gornergrat (optional tour). Overnight in Zermatt.

Tips:: Zermatt lies at the foot of the Matterhorn. The town's touristic development is closely linked to what is most probably the world's most famous mountain.

Glacier Express and Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. The world-famous Glacier Express takes you on an exciting panoramic ride to Chur. Please note the arrival time of the Glacier Express in Chur so that you still have enough time for your journey home. Individual return journey to your ending point in Switzerland.

Tips:: Journey in the Glacier Express from Zermatt to Chur. Return journey by public transport from Chur to your destination in Switzerland or extension of your stay.

Special Notes

Cancellation & Rebooking policy
Up on our confirmation being raised : In case of a cancellation the following fees in percentage of the package price apply, uncless otherwise specified on our product tariffs or when advised differently by our staff at time of booking.
- Up to 32 days before travel: handling fee (CHF 120/booking)
- 31 - 17 days before travel: 30% of overall package cost, min. CHF120/booking
- 16 - 10 days before travel: 60% of overall package cost, min. CHF120/booking
- 09 - 0 days days before travel or no show: 100% of overall package cost
- After our confirmation has been raised, we will charge an amendment fee of CHF 60/booking, file plus any charges that may be made by our own suppliers. This particularly will apply where non-refundable rates have been booked.
- If changes only convern name changes, we charge the following fees CHF30/booking file plus any charges that may be made by our own suppliers.
In case of changes that require a complete re-book of a holiday package in more than one location, regardless if documents have been issue or not, we will treat this as a cancellation and our below cancellation fees apply plus any charges that may be made by our own suppliers.
The order of the itinerary may be reversed in instances where there is limited availability on the train. You will be informed of any changes in itinerary well in advance of scheduled departure.
The hotels for each night will be confirmed after the booking is confirmed and paid in full.

All prices are subject to availability. If a partner hotel is not available, we will offer alternative accommodation. Supplements or reductions may apply.

Your reservation is always subject to confirmation by email, normally within one to two business days.

* Children rates are available on request and subject to availability.
* Price for Single Occupancy applies when one person stays in one standard hotel room.
* Price for Double and Triple Occupancy applies when two and three people stay in one standard hotel room, respectively.
* Package price is based on the journey starting in Zurich and ending in Zurich.
* Other starting and end points are possible - there may be a surcharge for this.
* Extension nights possible.

Reservation Info

1.Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a Receipt of Reservation via email.

2. Within one to two business days of submitting your reservation you will receive a status update email from us. If you need to book an airline ticket, we recommend that you do so after you receive a confirmation of your tour reservation from us.

3. An E-Ticket will be sent to you via email as soon as details of your reservation are confirmed or your supporting information is received by us. We will provide you with all detailed information about your tour on the E-Ticket. Contact information for local tour provider will be included on E-Ticket for your convenience or re-confirmation purpose if re-confirmation is required.

4. Simply print your E-Ticket and present it with your valid photo ID on the day of your activity to your tour guide. Please remember E-Ticket is your proof of purchase.
