11-Day Higlights of Sabah & Mt Kinabalu Tour·Kota Belud, Sungai Kinabatangan, Sepilok, Pulau Libaran, Kota Kinabalu

Climbing Mt Kinabalu was the hardest physical challenge of my life, but reaching the summit at sunrise was pure magic. Be warned: the mountain huts are very basic, unheated, and crowded. Hot soup and simple meals kept us going. The transfer vans were decent and clean. Our guide, Rizal, was a saint for pacing us so well on the steep trails.
