Best Kauai Tours & Trips

Called the "Garden Isle" for its flourishing vegetation and plant life, Kauai is the oldest and smallest of the four main Hawaiian islands at 553 square miles. The island is one of the wettest places in the world with a rainfall average of 440 inches per year. Kauai is said to be named after one of Polynesian explorer Hawaiʻiloa's sons and it was one of the last Hawaiian islands to unite under King Kamehameha I's kingdom. Its Waimea Bay area was reached by Capt. James Cook in 1778. Some of Kauai's many attractions include Waimea Canyon, Kauai Museum, Fern Grotto, Hanalei Valley Lookout, Opaekaa Falls and Wailua Falls.

A
Hawaii Movie Day Tour in Kauai

I had such a wonderful day and learnt so much. Our driver and guide were excellent and I could not fault them. My only criticism was that I had to walk to the airport in the dark to join the tour and there was no hotel pick up for some reason from my hotel. I am told that they don't pick up from my hotel and yet in the blurb when I booked the tour it was advised that there were pickups in Lihue, which is where I was staying. There was also another couple not even two minutes from my hotel and yet they had a pick up and drop off service. I could have walked to their hotel for my pick up which was closer than the airport. I could have had a pick up closer to my hotel, ie MacDonalds or KFC so why did I have to walk in the rain and cold and dark to the airport and yet there was a hotel pick up from much further away for some of the guests? Why was I discriminated. I was also told to be there 10 to 15 minutes before pick up and yet my last email told me to be there 30 minutes before pick up, which I was.
