Itinerary

Departure from New York, we are heading to Washington D.C. The sightseeing tour will begin with White House and Capitol Hill, with the retro style building the front of us. Lincoln Memorial is the next stop, where we can honor the notable president. From Jefferson Memorial, there will be specular view in every April as the Cherry Blossom blooming along the Tidal Basin. Later guests will have the chance to take the D.C. Cherry Blossom Cruise. With a backdrop of full blooming cherry trees on the banks of the Potomac River, you can also see the most iconic landmarks in the area. Itinerary: Washington, D.C → The White House (Outside visit, 20 mins) → Jefferson Memorial (60 mins) → D.C. Cherry Blossom Cruise (Optional, 60 mins) → Madame Tussauds’ President Gallery (Optional, 60 mins. Only when time allows) The White House The world-famous White House in Washington, DC is the official residence of the president of the United States and the place where most of the work is done. The facade of this neoclassical mansion is a global icon. Thomas Jefferson Memorial The Thomas Jefferson Memorial is a memorial to the third president of the United States. The impressive building is neoclassical in design and has been standing since 1943. It sees more than two million visitors every year. It's only available during the Cherry Blossom time. DC Sightseeing Cruise The Potomac River runs along Washington, DC, the capital city of the United States of America. Visitors to this famous locale can opt to see many of the area's most historic landmarks and memorials in a unique way. or Madame Tussaud's President Gallery The Washington, DC arm of this worldwide phenomenon is a sight to behold. Amazingly and sometimes eerily lifelike figures line the halls of this art museum in the form of celebrities and politicians both famous and infamous.

* Each year, the National Cherry Blossom Festival celebrates spring in Washington, DC. As for this year, the official schedule is March 20 – April 12. However, the view of the cherry blossom is subject to change due to weather conditions. Furthermore, reservation is not available for the Cherry Blossom Cruise based on the busy season in D.C. * The cruise tour is subject to change regarding the cruise company’s schedule as well as the tourist volume. In case that cruise was not in service, we will go to the renowned Madame Tussauds’ President Gallery instead.

Special Notes

Cancellation Policy:
* 25 or more days prior to departure date - No penalty fee, fully refund.
* 16-24 days prior to departure date - 25% penalty fee will be charged.
* 10-15 days prior to departure date - 50% penalty fee will be charged.
* No refund for cancellation within 9 days prior to departure date.

In case of attraction closures (due to holidays or construction, etc.), the tour guide may make some necessary changes to the itinerary accordingly.

This tour does not accept any City Pass or your own tickets for the attraction. Passengers who take this tour need to purchase admission tickets from tour escort on the departure date. Otherwise, we will stop providing services on the day.

We make every effort to provide on-time service, it does not guarantee to arrive at or depart from any point as a specific time, which may be affected by any number of factor including weather, traffic, strikes, government shutdowns, war or terrorist attacks, or mechanical problem.

This tour requires at least 12 person. If the number is not 12 on departure date, we may cancell this tour and refund you.

If you need to book air ticket, we recommend that you please book your air ticket after you receive confirmation email for your reservation within one to two business days from us.

Spring/Summer: wear lightweight clothing and comfortable shoes.
Fall/Winter: wear layered clothing in the winter to ensure comfort in the cold weather.

In order to protect your own property, please bring any valuable items with you at any time. Please do not leave any valuable items on the bus/hotel/attraction/restaurant etc. Tours4Fun, local operators, drivers and tour guides will not take any responsibility for any theft loss at any location.

1. Guests are not allowed to use a CITY PASS, NATIONAL PARK PASS and admission ticket purchased by themselves to join the sightseeing attractions included in this tour.
2. Guests who do use a CITY PASS, NATIONAL PARK PASS or admission ticket purchased by themselves, will not be offered the transportation service for that day, and will possible need to pay a penalty fee. Please consult your tour guide for details.
Language: This tour is escorted by a professional bilingual tour guide and/or driver guide (English/Chinese). Tours and/or languages may be combined to operate this tour depending on the number of passengers who have booked a particular departure.
Bus Arrangement: Passengers on the same reservation will be arranged on the same bus unless stated otherwise. If you wish to be on the same bus as another party /an existing reservation, please note your request with the reservation number in the comment section on the checkout page or notify us at least 24 hours prior to tour departure.
