Itinerary

Escape the city for a day trip from Paris to Champagne, only place in the world that is able to grow and produce Champagne, just outside of Paris! Our small group will depart from the city center and head out into France's lush and gorgeous countryside. Here we’ll discover the growing, harvesting, bottling, and proper way of tasting Champagne. You’ll also learn the history of Dom Perignon himself and even visit the quaint chapel and gravesite of Dom Perignon, the father of Champagne. Plus, you'll also meet with a local producer to learn about the growing process and varieties of Champagne! Afterwards you’ll be given a tour at the House of either Moët, Chandon, or Mercier - the world’s largest producers of Champagne! Throughout the day you’ll be able to taste at least 4 different types of Champagne and even pick up some bottles for souvenirs if you’d like.

This tour departs at 7:30am from 1 Place Saint-Michel, in front of Cafe Le Depart Saint-Michel. We will return to Paris around 6pm.
