Itinerary

Pick-up locations and Times:
10:30-11:20 pick up from hotels in downtown Fairbanks. Please refer to the latest pre-tour notice for the specific time.
Tour Duration: 11:00-01:00 (+1day) 14 Hours
Itinerary:
Estimated departure at 11:00 from the designated hotel, embarking on a journey along the Dalton Highway — known as one of the most remote and dangerous roads in the United States. You'll have the opportunity to take a memorable photo at the iconic Dalton Highway sign, marking the start of your adventure.
We will then head to the Yukon River Camp, where you'll have a short break before continuing the journey.
The final destination of the day is the Arctic Circle Sign, where you'll receive an official Arctic Circle Adventure Certificate to commemorate your achievement of reaching the polar region.
Afterward, we'll return to the Yukon River Camp for a brief stop to rest, enjoy dinner, and use the restroom facilities.
On the way back, your guide will be on the lookout for the Northern Lights. If they appear, we'll make a short stop to enjoy and photograph this stunning natural phenomenon.

  • If there is any discrepancy between the scheduled times listed in the itinerary and the times announced by the tour guide on site, please follow the tour guide's instructions.
  • The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed. Their appearance depends on unpredictable weather conditions. While we cannot promise a 100% chance of seeing the aurora, we sincerely hope that every guest will be lucky enough to witness this beautiful spectacle.
  • Small Group Policy: For guests joining the tour during the low season, we guarantee a group size of 14 people or fewer (excluding "fly-in, drive-out" itineraries); During peak seasons (e.g., Christmas holidays), vehicles with 25 seats or more may be used. Vehicle type is based on the actual date of travel (not the tour start date). The definitions of low and peak seasons follow the specific seasonal dates published on the product page. For example, if you join a 5-day tour starting on December 17 (a low-season day), a smaller vehicle will be used on that day. However, from December 18 to 21 (peak-season dates), a larger vehicle may be arranged. Please refer to the actual arrangement on the day of travel.
  • This tour will be led by a local professional guide, A minimum of 4 pax is required.
  • It is strongly recommended that guests purchase travel insurance in advance.
  • This is a shared tour, and you may be traveling with other guests who have booked different itineraries. We appreciate your understanding.
  • Due to significant differences in daylight hours between autumn and winter, the exact departure time will be confirmed prior to the tour.
  • The Arctic Circle road trip involves extended periods of driving. Guests who are prone to severe motion sickness are advised to consider this carefully before booking.
  • During scenic stops, guests are strictly prohibited from standing or lingering in the middle of the road. Any traffic accidents or personal injuries resulting from a guest's individual behavior will be the guest's sole responsibility.
  • Please arrive at the meeting point at least 10–15 minutes in advance and ensure the contact number you provided is reachable. Due to traffic conditions and multiple hotel pickups, your patience is appreciated. If you are not present within 10 minutes of the scheduled time and cannot be reached after multiple attempts, it will be considered a voluntary cancellation with no refund or compensation.
  • In the event of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances that threaten the safety of guests or prevent the tour from proceeding as planned, we reserve the right to take appropriate measures. This may include adjusting the itinerary, changing the order of visits, or even canceling part or all of the tour. Related costs are non-refundable. Any additional expenses incurred (such as extra accommodation, transportation, meals, or flight changes) will be the guest's responsibility. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to minimize potential losses due to such events.
  • Due to the unpredictable weather in Alaska, the tour guide may adjust the itinerary order as needed to ensure the best possible experience. However, no part of the itinerary will be omitted unless necessary. In the event of forced cancellations, we will offer refunds based on the affected portion of the tour and the actual circumstances. Final interpretation rights belong to the company.
  • This tour operates on a join-in/shared group basis and is handled by a local operator. For operational efficiency, the local operator may transfer guests between vehicles during the tour and assign different guides and drivers, while ensuring that all services remain consistent with the agreed standards and itinerary.
  • The tour involves long hours on the road, so please be prepared in advance. You are welcome to bring your own snacks or food.
  • We kindly ask that you help the driver and guide maintain a clean environment on the vehicle. Please take your trash with you when exiting the bus.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited on the vehicle.
  • Please be punctual. If you miss the scheduled departure time due to personal reasons, any resulting consequences will be your sole responsibility.
  • Due to rapidly changing polar weather conditions, itinerary changes or cancellations may occur for safety reasons. We appreciate your understanding.
  • All times listed in the itinerary are approximate and for reference only. The guide may adjust the travel pace according to real-time road conditions.
  • During aurora viewing, please refrain from using flash photography, headlamps, flashlights, or any bright light sources, as they may disturb others' observation and photography.
  • Please dress warmly and take necessary precautions when viewing the Northern Lights outdoors to avoid frostbite or discomfort.
  • Lighting may be limited at night. Please watch your step and ensure your safety while moving around.
