As the penguin walk at Asahiyama Zoo depends on snow conditions, you may not be able to see it. You may also not be able to view the penguin walk due to a decision from the zoo to cancel the event, bad weather or our late arrival to the zoo.

Please be aware that some ingredients, especially seafood, may change depending on the catch and stock availability.

A Japanese-speaking guide is provided. A tour conductor speaks English or Chinese, however he/she does not translate the guide information.

This course is conducted together with Japanese participants.

Please join the tour with comfortable clothes and walking shoes.

Since drift ice is a natural phenomenon, there are no guarantees that you will see any.

The cruise is subject to cancellation due to a lack of drift ice or bad weather.

If there is no drift ice on the day, the activity will become a sightseeing cruise around the Okhotsk Sea for 45 minutes. Any difference in cruise fare will be refunded.

Should bad weather prevent a cruise of any kind, then it will be replaced with another activity or we will provide you a refund of the cruise fare.

All rooms at the Hotel Park Hills and Biei-Shirogane Shikino-mori are non-smoking. Please use the designated smoking areas.

The rooms will not be cleaned for 2 days. Room cleaning costs JPY1,080 per room. If you wish your room to be cleaned, then please ask the reception.

Two sets of towels and sheets will be provided, but if you require more, please ask the reception.

Meeting time on the tour departure day is 50 minutes before the flight departure time. Any costs for the accommodation around the airport the night before the tour day or for the transportation to the airport are covered by customers. (Detailed information about meeting place and time will be informed at least 7 days prior to the tour departure day.)

The itinerary is subject to change and even activities will be cancelled should the weather be significantly bad. Furthermore, in the unlikely event that flights and other transportation are significantly delayed, suspended etc., any additional expenses incurred (accommodation, travel, food etc.) will be at your own expense.

Seat allocations for flights: Due to the seating layout and reservation situation, even if you booked the tour as a group or a pair, your seats may not be next to or close to each other. You may also be placed in a smoking carriage.

To change the customer's information, a confirmation from the airline is necessary. When the flight is fully booked, a name change is not possible. When a name change is possible, a handling fee will be charged.

Please be aware that there is a possibility of a connected flight.

We will not be responsible for any delays, shortenings or omissions made to the itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control (traffic, weather etc.)

A decision on whether to cancel the tour will be decided by 3pm Japan Standard Time. one day before the tour date. We will inform you by e-mail.

The tour end point may be different from the meeting point. Ask the tour conductor on the day.

The amended Act on the Protection of Personal Information came into effect on 30 May 2017. Customer information (name, age, gender etc.) may be forwarded to the hotels or necessary entities for the purpose of making tour arrangements. This condition shall be deemed to have been accepted by the customer upon completion of the reservation.

The time we mentioned in the itinerary is for reference only. Please refer to your guide on tour for the actual arrangement. The visiting order and duration might be changed according to actual and practical situation for better service.
