Itinerary

Our whale watching tour focuses on magnificent killer whales and majestic Humpback whales, and other marine wildlife such as porpoises, sea lions, seals and bald eagles. The Explorathor is the largest vessel in our fleet, built in British Columbia, Canada. It is a 47 passenger, open/semi covered zodiac style vessel, with a semi covered seating area in the rear. The Express is a 45 passenger zodiac style vessel. It offers a fast and comfortable ride, ideal for families and groups. The bow of the Express has a clear glass roof and slide up windows for unobstructed viewing - the windows slide up not across.

  • Whale watching tours are not recommended for those suffering from neck/back problems, persons in frail health, and pregnant women.
  • If you do not need shuttle pick-up, please arrive at the office (12240 Second Avenue, Suite 210 Richmond BC V7E 3L8) 60 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.
  • Children 3 years of age and under ride for free provided they are less than 105 cm tall and do not occupy a seat.
  • Children must be at least 8 years of age to ride the Lightship.
  • Rates and departures subject to change without notice.
  • All boats have washrooms onboard.
  • Passengers should dress warmly in layers, bring sunglasses, sunscreen, a snack and a camera.
  • All whale watching passengers will be required to sign an insurance waiver.
  • All tours are fully narrated by professional Wildlife Guides.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any trip due to weather conditions, mechanical problems or unforeseen circumstances.
  • We reserve the right to substitute vessels.
  • Please do not leave any valuable items on the bus or at the hotel, attraction, restaurant, etc. Tours4fun, local operators, drivers and tour guides are not responsible for any loss or theft at any location.
