Today we will first go to visit New Bedford Whaling Museum. Then we will move to Newport to see the the Breakers. Then head to Brown University and also State House of Rhode Island. When time and weather permitting, we can go through the Cliff walk. Breakers Mansion Newport, Rhode Island is known across the country as a haven for the elite, and the Breakers Mansion, built by the Vanderbilt family as a "summer cottage" epitomizes the wealth and opulence that has come to characterize the town. Brown University Brown University, one of New England's prestigious Ivy League universities, was established in 1764 - before the foundation of the United States - and has become one of the most renowned institutions of higher education in the world. Rhode Island State House The Rhode Island State House is the capitol building of the state's government. It is a grandiose neoclassical style building reminiscent of the US Capitol in Washington, DC. Built in 1895, it is part the National Register of Historic Places.
