Passengers will be picked up in the Boston area in the morning. Today we will tour the city of Boston, MA. Our tour begins with visit Harvard University and MIT. We will also visit Trinity Church (Photo stop), Quincy Market, the Massachusetts State House on Beacon Hill (Photo stop), USS. CONSTITUTION (Photo stop). After that we will take the Cruise of Boston Harbor. You can visit Fenway Park. The Boston Red Sox is a Boston-based professional baseball team that belongs to the US League East in the Major League Baseball. USS Constitution, also known as Old Ironsides, is a wooden-hulled, three-masted heavy frigate of the United States Navy named by President George Washington after the United States Constitution. She is the world's oldest commissioned naval vessel still afloat.[Note 1] She was launched in 1797, one of six original frigates authorized for construction by the Naval Act of 1794 and the third constructed. Joshua Humphreysdesigned the frigates to be the young Navy's capital ships, and so Constitution and her sisters were larger and more heavily armed and built than standard frigates of the period. She was built at Edmund Hartt's shipyard in the North End of Boston, Massachusetts. Her first duties were to provide protection for American merchant shipping during the Quasi-War with France and to defeat the Barbary pirates in the First Barbary War. Fenway Park is a baseball park located in Boston, Massachusetts near Kenmore Square. Since 1912, it has been the home for the Boston Red Sox, the city's American League baseball team, and since 1953, its only Major League Baseball (MLB) franchise. It is the oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball.[9] Because of its age and constrained location in Boston's dense Fenway–Kenmore neighborhood, the park has been renovated or expanded many times, resulting in quirky heterogeneous features including "The Triangle" (below), Pesky's Pole, and the Green Monster in left field. It is the fourth-smallest among MLB ballparks by seating capacity, second-smallest by total capacity, and one of eight that cannot accommodate at least 40,000 spectators. The tour will conclude at about 4:30 pm, at which point we will return to the departure point for drop off.
