Day1 New York - St. Josephs Oratory - Montreal The bus tour will start by crossing the Canadian border where you will arrive in Montreal that is an unofficial capital for French Canadians.. You will visit the beautiful St. Josephs Oratory of Mount Royal which is the largest shrine in the world dedicated to Saint Joseph, sitting on the northern slope of Mount Royal that is major site of Roman Catholic pilgrimage and worship. The dome is the world's second largest, after St. Peter's in Rome, and religious pilgrims sometimes climb the steps in the middle, praying at every step. In the evening, we will have explore downtown Montreal, and have dinner in the thriving city district. Guests will retire to the hotel.
Day2 Montreal - Quebec Winter Carnival
In the morning the bus tour will journey to Quebec City for the Quebec Winter Carnival. The Quebec Winter Carnival is the biggest winter carnival in the world and is celebrated annually at the end of January until mid-February. With close to one million participants, it has become one of the largest winter celebrations in the world. In this wonderful trip, we will visit a lot famous ice sculptures by most famous artists in the world. Moreover, you will enjoy the day watching parades, slide runs, concerts, snow sculptures, and dogsled rides. You will also visit the Ice Hotel which takes about a month and a half to build with over 15,000 tons of snow and 500,000 tons of ice with four feet thick walls.
Day3 Quebec - Olympic Stadium - New York
The Olympic Stadium (French: Stade olympique) is a multi-purpose stadium in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district of Montreal, Quebec, Canada built as the main venue for the 1976 Summer Olympics. The stadium is nicknamed "The Big O", a reference to both its name and to the doughnut-shape of the permanent component of the stadium's roof; "The Big Owe" has been used to reference the astronomical cost of the stadium and the 1976 Olympics as a whole. And you will have change to go to DUTY FREE to buy the ice wine. Ice wine is a type of dessert wine produced from grapes that have been frozen while still on the vine. Here you will have an opportunity to taste a sampling of their fine wines and an opportunity to purchase your own bottles. Afterwards the bus tour will return to New York.
