Summary of The Day: You will start this amazing journey with a visit to Princeton University, located in New Jersey. After, you will make your way to Philadelphia where you will visit the National Independence Historical Park, the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and Congress Hall. After, you will make your way to Baltimore where you will stay overnight.
Visiting Attractions:
Independence National Historical Park
Independence National Historical Park: This Downtown Philadelphia 55-acre destination contains a myriad of historic landmarks relating to the American Revolution and the birth of the United States. Independence Mall State Park has Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, Franklin Park, the United States Postal Museum, The First Bank of the United States, The National Constitution Center, Congress Hall, Old City Hall and many more important sites. Philadelphia was the country's capital from 1790-1800 and the park is a U.S. National Historic Landmark District.
Liberty Bell
Liberty Bell: This legendary symbol of freedom in the United States containing a distinctive crack is on display protected by a glass case in the Liberty Bell Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The mostly copper Liberty Bell was made in 1752 by British firm White Chapel Foundry with the the Bible verse "Proclaim LIBERTY throughout all the Land unto all the inhabitants thereof" engraved on it. It was cracked when it first arrived in Philadelphia. The Liberty Bell Center features multimedia presentations and exhibits on the history of the Liberty Bell.
Independence Hall
Independence Hall: Both the United States Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed at this historically significant Philadelphia structure that once had the famed Liberty Bell in its Bell Tower. Independence Hall was finished in 1753 using a design by Andrew Hamilton and Edmund Woolley under the orders of the Pennsylvania Colonial Legislature. Other important events that happened in this building were the appointment of George Washington to head the Continental Army in 1775, adoption of the U.S. Flag design in 1777 and the Articles of Confederation approval in 1781. Independence Hall, which is part of Independence National Historic Park, is a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Site.
Congress Hall, Philadelphia
Congress Hall, Philadelphia: The historically significant building established in 1789 served as the United States Capitol from 1790-1800 and was the site of the presidential inauguration of George Washington (second) and John Adams as well as the ratification of the U.S. Bill of Rights. Congress Hall is part of Philadelphia's Independence National Historic Park and has been restored to what it looked like at the end of the 18th Century. Before becoming a National Park Service attraction, the structure was used for federal and local courts.
Princeton University
Princeton University : The Ivy League higher learning institution located in Princeton, New Jersey and founded in 1746 is the fourth oldest college in the United States. Princeton University's 500-acre campus contains 180 buildings and 98 percent of its undergraduate students live there. It has ties with 35 Nobel Prize recipients, 17 National Medal of Science winners and three National Humanities Medal awardees. Famous Princeton graduates include United States presidents James Madison and Woodrow Wilson; U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama; U.S. Supreme Court justices Samuel Alito, Elena Kagan, and Sonia Sotomayor; writer F. Scott Fitzgerald; actors Jimmy Stewart and Brooke Shields; auto industry titan Lee Iacocca and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. Famous physicist Albert Einstein gave frequent lectures at Princeton University.

Summary of The Day: Today, you will leave Baltimore and make your way to our nation's capitol- Washington, D.C. There you will see the National Air and Space Museum, Capitol Hill, the White House, and it's many memorials and monuments. After, you will make your way back to New York, concluding your wonderful tour.

*This tour will end at 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., but could be delayed due to special circumstances such as bad weather conditions and traffic jams.

Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum
Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum: With the largest collection of space and aircraft relics in the world, this cultural institution is visited by more than eight million people per year. Its 161,145-square-foot Washington, D.C. location has more than 21 galleries with exhibits on topics such as space travel, astronomy and world wars. Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum began as the National Air Museum in 1946 in the United States capital, however, the Smithsonian started preserving important flight artifacts in Washington, D.C. long before that. Some of the museum's treasured items include Charles Lindbergh's 1927 "Spirit of St. Louis" aircraft, 1903 Wright Flyer, 1924 Douglas World Cruiser Chicago, Mercury Friendship 7, Apollo 11 Command Module Columbia and the spacesuits of many famous astronauts.
White House
White House: This famous Washington, D.C. mansion is the official residence of the United States president and its location was chosen by George Washington back in 1791. The White House was designed by architect James Hoban and contains 132 rooms, 35 bathrooms, eight staircases and three elevators. Before U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt officially named it the White House in 1901, it was called "The President's House," "The President's Palace" and "Executive Mansion." Various presidents have had the structure renovated and restored throughout the decades. The White House displays many fine pieces of art including paintings, sculptures and furnishings.
Capitol Hill
Capitol Hill: The historic Washington, D.C. neighborhood runs in front of the United States Capitol and also contains the Library of Congress, Supreme Court Building, Washington Navy Yard, Marine Barracks and the U.S. Botanic Garden. Capitol Hill was established in 1791 as architect Pierre L'Enfant designed the layout of Washington, D.C. and includes many parks and green space. The U.S. National Historic District portion of Capitol Hill contains many 19th and 20th Century row houses.

  • This tour requires a minimum number of passengers to operate. Please reconfirm your order prior to the departure date between the months of October to April, because of its slow business.
  • During 5/29-10/4, the itinerary and operating dates may change due to weather, traffic and other reasons during our busy season.
  • During spring/summer, we recommend passengers wear lightweight clothing and comfortable shoes.
    During fall/winter, we recommend passengers wear layered clothing to ensure comfort in cold weather.
  • Multiple departure/pick-up locations are provided as value added options for this tour/activity. Please note that you may be transferred to a central meeting point from the departure/pick-up location (noted on your E-ticket) prior to departing on your tour/activity.

Reservation Process and E-Ticket

1.Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a Receipt of Reservation via email.
2. Within one to two business days of submitting your reservation you will receive a confirmation email from us. If you need to book an airline ticket, we recommend that you do so after you receive a confirmation of your tour reservation from us.
3. An E-Ticket will be sent to you via email as soon as details of your reservation is confirmed or your supporting information is received by us. We will provide you with all detailed information about your tour on the E-Ticket. Contact information for local tour provider will be included on E-Ticket for your convenience or re-confirmation purpose if re-confirmation is required.
4. Simply print your E-Ticket and present it with your valid photo ID on the day of your activity to your tour guide. Please remember E-Ticket is your proof of purchase.
