Day 2 Bogota
 Full day tour of Bogota, highlights include Plaza de Bolivar, San Francisco Church, the "must-see" Gold Museum, the old colonial part of town "La Candelaria", and a cable-car ride to the top of Cerro de Monserrate at 3,190m above sea level, which on a clear day offers amazing views across the entire city. Day 3 Bogota - Cartagena
 Fly to Cartagena this morning. Cartagena is undoubtedly the jewel in Colombia's crown and deservedly a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's a delightful place to stroll the surrounding, which is packed with well-preserved colonial charm, tiled roofs, pretty balconies and flower-filled courtyards. Upon arrival, take a tour of the city, visiting El Laguito, Bocagrande, and the old sector of the city, as well as San Felipe Castle, and La Popa Monastery. (B)

Day 4 Rosario Islands Excursion
 A full day fun in the Caribbean Sea! Transfer to pier and board speedboat to crossing Cartagena Bay. Pass through Bocachica and skirt the north coast of Baru Island towards El Rosario Islands, an archipelago of 27 small, coral islands, recently declared a National Park. First stop at the idyllic crystal clear waters on Cholon beach, continue onto Pirate Island. After a traditional lunch, the trip continues to San Martin Island where you can explore the island or visit a local aquarium (optional), or simply relax on the beaches. (B/L)

Day 5 Cartagena - Quito (Ecuador)
 Transfer to airport for flight to Quito, capital of Ecuador. After arrival in Quito, you can have rest in your hotel or you can choose to walk around this city. (B)

Day 6 Quito - Equatorial Monument - Teleferiqo
 Morning tour of Guapulo Church. Onward to the historic center of Quito. There we tour La Plaza Grande,El Palacio Presidencial, La Catedral Metropolitana, El Sagrario, La Compan韆, San Francisco y Santo Domingo, and the statue El Pancecillo. Later, stroll around the market of the artisans (Mercado De Los Artesanos). Journey north to Equatorial Monument at latitude 0 00' 00'' which marks the geodesic position of the Equator, a wonderful opportunity to be in two hemispheres at the same time. Transfer to Teleferico station, ascend on cable car to enjoy the panorama view of Andes Mountain, the world's longest mountain chain and the massive Pichincha Volcano. (B)

Day 7 Quito - Amazon Jungle
 Journey to the Amazon Jungle. Arrive on the shore of Ecuador's majestic Napo River at the eastern slopes of the Andes Mountains. Check in La Casa del Suizo, a tranquil Amazonia lodge perched comfortably above the riverbank and overlooking vast expanses of the surrounding tropical rainforest. (B/L/D)

Day 8 Amazon Jungle
 All excursions at La Casa del Suizo will be led by a native guide with expert knowledge of the rainforest. There are a variety of activities to choose from: hikes through primary rainforest; easy walks along river islands; take canoe ride along the Napo River or one of its many tributaries; visit with a local Quichua Indian family; or try to build and navigate a wooden raft... Day 9 Amazon Jungle - Quito - Lima (Peru)

Day 10 Lima - Cuzco
Morning tour of Lima visiting San Francisco Monastery, Government Palace, Cathedral and Plaza de Armas. Afternoon flight to Cuzco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel, rest of the day free at leisure to adjust to the high altitude. (B)

Day 11 Machu Picchu
Board the auto-rail car bound ascending through the path of the Sacred Valley of the Incas to arrive the legendary Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas. Tour this intact fortress with its temple remains, holy houses and mile-long aqueduct. Return to Cuzco late afternoon. (B/L)

Day 12 Cuzco - Hometown
Morning tour of Cuzco, visiting the Santo Domingo Monastery, the Inca Temple of the Sun, the Inca baths of Tambomachay, Kenko Amphitheater; and the Cathedral. Transfer to airport for flight returning home or your next destination. (B)
