Q: I am trying to generate interest in our group of friends to take the Sept. 1 tour. Eight couples (total of 16 persons) have already expressed interest. What will be the cost per person at two people per hotel room with the group discout? Can we pay individually to you based on the discounted rate? There might be more who would join. Can you tell me availability of spaces right now?

The total tour package price with the discount will only be $2401.60.
You can pay individually by sending payment information separately, but the discount will only apply when the first 10 travelers have paid for the group. There is currently availbility for 16 travelers on the tour for the Sept 1 departure date.

I understand we will be visiting the wineries and Lake Tahoe, but will we get the chance to go down to taste wines as well as buy wines, or will it just be a touch and go kind of thing? Wine tasting in Napa Valley is usually part of the itinerary for this tour. In addition, you will be able to purchase wine at these stops.
However, please note the following itinerary information for Winter trips for this tour:
"May go to Salmon Farm instead of Napa Valley in winter time"
At Lake Tahoe, there will not be time for skiing.
However, you have the option to purchase a cruise while at Lake Tahoe.

Unfortunately the tour does not go to San Francisco, but you can choose to end the tour in Sacramento.

Yes, the tour will make a stop at Sacramento, before heading back to Los Angeles.
As for opting to end the tour in Sacramento, when booking your reservation, please place in the comments section that you would like to end your tour in Sacramento and you will also need to remind the tour guide regarding ending the tour in Sacramento.
