There's definitely something quite magical seeing Yosemite decorated under a blanket of snow.

Kick back in the heart of the Mojave Desert, the gateway to Death Valley National Park, and enjoy the desert view over a burger at Peggy Sue's 50's Diner.
Summary of The Day: Trade your mittens and woolly hats for sunscreen and shades! Leaving early we'll visit one of the hottest places on earth, Death Valley! In this below-sea-level basin, steady drought and record summer heat make Death Valley a land of extremes. Towering peaks are capped with winter snow and rainstorms bring vast fields of wildflowers.
Lush oasis' harbor tiny fish and refuge for wildlife and humans. Head down to the valley floor and take a walk on the salt flats where you can get creative with some cool perspective shots. Despite its morbid name, a great diversity of life survives in Death Valley and winter is the best possible time to visit.
Summary of The Day: Onto Zion National Park, where a desert oasis is transformed by a blanket of snow. Again, the warm winter temperatures are perfect for exploring the canyon without the summer crowds.
