Summary of The Day: Welcome to Turkey! After picking you up from the airport we will transfer you to the hotel.
Gather round in the hotel lobby at 6:00pm to meet your fellow travelers and guide. Listen up for a fast and informal meeting with the leader including registration, a short summary about the adventures ahead, and information about Turkey.
Summary of The Day: After breakfast we'll begin to experience the magnificence of Istanbul. We'll stroll through the old town visiting the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome of Constantinople (admission not included), the majestic Topkapi Palace (admission not included), and the Hagia Sophia Museum (admission not included).
Summary of The Day: Today we'll depart Istanbul for the shores of the Gallipoli Peninsula. We'll visit all the important memorial sites in the region including the Kabatepe War Museum, Anzac Cove, Chunuk Bair memorial and Lone Pine (admission not included).
We'll spend the night in Canakkale.
Summary of The Day: After breakfast we'll head to the ancient city of Troy (admission not included), the setting of Homer's epic, The Iliad. We'll get to explore this historic sight that has inspired numerous great tales.
We'll then continue to the ruins of Pergamon and the remains of the Asklepion (admission not included). In the evening we arrive in Kusadasi.
Summary of The Day: The best preserved ancient town in Turkey, Ephesus, will be our first stop today.
In the afternoon we'll depart for Fethiye where we can explore the buzzing tourist and resort town.
Summary of The Day: After breakfast we'll make our way to huge canyon of Saklikent to explore.
Afterwards we'll make our way to Oludeniz. Besides its spectacular beaches, glittering waters and breathtaking natural scenery, Oludeniz is also popular for its water sport activities. Here you can relax on the exquisite beach or join one of the adventure activities including paragliding and microlighting. Late in the afternoon we'll return to the hotel in Fethiye.
Summary of The Day: After breakfast we'll make our way to Dalyan, a small town in the south-western coast popular for its natural and unspoiled beauty. Here we'll join a boat trip to visit the most popular mud bath in Turkey, and then continue to Iztuzu beach, homeland of world famous Caretta Caretta turtles.
After a fantastic cruise we'll reach the Iztuzu sandbar with its fine sand and turquoise sea. From here we'll return to the hotel in the late afternoon.
Summary of The Day: Today we'll head to Pamukkale (which means "Cotton Castle" in Turkish), a natural site that contains hot springs and travertines, giving the appearance of terraces made by carbonate minerals left by the flowing water (admission not included).
We'll also get to visit the ancient city of Hierapolis was built on top of the white castle and people have bathed in its pools for thousands of years (admission not included).
Summary of The Day: Today we'll depart for Cappadocia where we'll visit the world famous Underground City (admission not included). Afterwards we'll enjoy a night in Cappadocia region of exceptional natural and man-made wonders, characterized by fairy chimneys and unique historical and cultural heritage.
Summary of The Day: After breakfast we'll begin exploring all the important sights in Cappadocia including the Goreme Open Air Museum (admission not included), Cavusin, Uchisar, and Pigeon Valley.
In the evening we'll fly to Istanbul, your tour ends in Istanbul Ataturk Airport at 9:30pm. Please book your flights accordingly.
