This magnificent glass complex is a centerpiece in the Pittsburgh skyline and contains 19,750 glass pieces. Ground was broken on PPG Place on 1981 and it was dedicated in 1984 having been built has the headquarters for the Pittsburgh Plate & Glass Co. It was designed in neogothic style by architects Philip Johnson and John Burgee. Its main building is the 40-story One PPG Place.
