Plaza de la Constitucion, or Constitution Square, was constructed in the year 1817 and originally served as a the city's main bullring, a vestige of which remains above the balcony doors: numbers left over from the time when City Hall sold the balconies as box seats. Shops and terraced bars draw a steady stream of regulars and tourists, although things don't really heat up until January 20, when the square hosts the hoisting of the flag as part of St. Sebastian's Feast Day.
