Discover the Best Mile Marker 0 Tours

This landmark sign in Victoria notes the beginning of the nearly 5,000-mile long Trans-Canada Highway that stretches across the entire country. The Mile Marker "0" is located at the intersection of Douglas Street and Dallas Road next to Beacon Hill Park. It also is the site of a statue memorializing Terry Fox, who lost his leg to cancer when he was 18. He created a cross-country run from Newfoundland to Victoria to raise funds for cancer research, but passed away before he reached the Mile Marker "0."
