About Lacock

This Wiltshire village located in the Cotswolds has been used in the filming of many movies and television shows including "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone," "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" and "Pride and Prejudice." Lacock dates back to at least 1086 as it's mentioned in the Domesday Book ordered by King William the Conqueror that surveyed England and Wales. Points of interest are Lacock Abbey, St. Cyriac's Church, Fox Talbot Museum and its many quaint thatched roof cottages.
