The Jenolan Caves are one of the world's most spectacular network of limestone caves, famed for their beautiful, pure white calcite formations and numerous marine fossils. Following an underground section, of the Jenolan River, the gigantic cave complex has never been fully explored, and contains over 25 miles (40 km) of passages on different levels. The Jenolan Caves form part of the UNESCO World Heritage–listed Greater Blue Mountains Area, located in New South Wales in Eastern Australia. The cave's most breathtaking mineral formations have been given names such as the Minaret, the Grand Column and the Queen's Canopy.
