This Death Valley National Park spot received its name after a National Park Service guide noted in 1934 that "only the devil could play golf on such rough links." Devil's Golf Course and its extraordinary formations are the result of rock salt being eroded by weather throughout the years. The area can be reached by a unpaved road, and is closed during and after the rain.
