To prove to the village that the Lady of Guadalupe did in fact speak to him, Juan Diego presented the village with his peasant cloak or tilma, which miraculously featured the image of our Lady of Guadalupe. The tilma is currently displayed in the Basilica, and the Basilica can accommodate up to 50,000 people
