Our self-guided admission to The Met is free of cost. However, there will be a fee for exhibits inside The Met.
Some exhibits include: The Cloisters museum and gardens, the branch of the Metropolitan Museum devoted to the art, architecture, and gardens of medieval Europe. Boasting unparalleled views of the Hudson River, The Cloisters is located in northern Manhattan's Fort Tryon Park.
High atop a hill in northern Manhattan's Fort Tryon Park, The Cloisters museum and gardens - only 30 minutes by subway from midtown - is the branch of The Metropolitan Museum of Art devoted to the art and architecture of medieval Europe.
Enjoy unparalleled views of the Hudson River, stroll through enchanting gardens, and see over 5,000 works of art, including magnificent medieval sculpture, exquisite illuminated manuscripts, glorious stained glass, and the celebrated Unicorn Tapestries.
