You will travel through the old sugar mill town of Paia and along the magnificent coastline past world famous windsurfing beaches. Travel on to Kaumahina State Park and the crashing waves of Keanae Valley Lookout, Pua'a Ka'a, Waianapanapa State Parks and Wailua Falls. Your journey continues over the one lane bridges and hairpin turns of the famous road to Hana and Hasegawa General Store. Your professional guide will escort you to Kipahulu where you will discover Ohe'o Stream and Pools and stop for a refreshing swim (weather and time permitting). Throughout this magical tour you will discover cascading waterfalls, lush rainforest, fantastic vistas and experience the hidden side of Maui. ***This tour is operated on very rough, winding roads. It is not recommended for pregnant women or those with back or motion problems. ***You are able to purchase your lunch at the Hana Farms. Hāna Farms is a tropical farm and marketplace located in the exotic rainforests of Maui's northern coast, along the historic Hāna Highway. You can enjoy their lunch under a nice pavilion, on a picnic table, or inside the Bamboo Restaurant. Restrooms are available at the venue. Use of the Aloha landing will be limited to Sheraton and Royal Hawaiian guests only. ***Effective March 15, 2018, this tour will include a visit to Pua'a Ka'a State Wayside Park where guests will have a chance to swim in a waterfall fed pool (weather permitting). Pua'a Ka'a is a beautiful park located in the midst of a lush rain forest. The "tour stop" at the Pools of 'Ohe'o at Kipahulu will be replaced with a "drive by" in which our guests may view the area from the comfort of our new luxury Grech mini coaches. Please be advised that as result of vehicle servicing requirements and number of guest bookings, during days ahead some of our popular Hana tours will be operated by Eldorado mini-buses. However, most tours will continue to be operated with our Grech mini-buses. A scaling project is underway at Kipahulu which involves the removal of vegetation, loose debris and rocks. Swimming is not allowed at the Pools and the value of making the tour stop has diminished. *Due to a fallen tree, Rainbow Falls cannot be visited till November 7, 2019. Additional time will be spent at other tour stops.
