Founded in 1975, Microsoft is the worldwide leader in software, services, devices and solutions that help people and businesses realize their full potential. Guests will have a chance to visit the famous Building 92(Microsoft Corporate Headquarters) to learn Microsoft’s fascinating history and everything about one of the world’s largest and most influential company. (Inside tour; tours are subject to closures for private events.) Also, we will go to University of Washington, commonly referred to as UW, a public flagship research university based in Seattle. Founded in 1861, UW is one of the oldest universities on the west coast and features one of the most highly regarded medical schools in the world. A new model for learning, collaborating and problem solving - the Global Innovation Exchange (GIX) has been launched here between two leading research universities, the University of Washington and Tsinghua University, with foundational support from Microsoft. It should also be reminded that the campus is famous for appreciating Cherry blossom.

(Night tour: Flight arrivals before 6:00pm) Seattle Fisherman Wharf – Kerry Park
We will firstly travel to Seattle Great Wheel, which is a giant Ferris wheel at Pier 57 on Elliott Bay in Seattle, Washington. With an overall height of 175 feet, it was the tallest Ferris wheel on the West Coast of the United States when it opened on June 29, 2012. Next stop is Kerry Park where visitors can have a panoramic city view of the entire Seattle. It is a perfect location for photography and if you see Space Needle with a backdrop of Mount Rainier in any marketing photos of Seattle, this is exactly where to take the pictures. In addition, the park was one of the many stops on the finale episode of the third season of Amazing Race.

Seattle - Olympia - Portland

We'll begin this fantastic tour with a visit to Olympia, the capital city of Washington, and see the State House.

We'll then travel north to Columbia River Gorge, the 4th largest river by volume in the nation, which flows inside the Rocky Mountains. It coves and runs for 1000 miles along the border of the 2 states of Oregon and Washington. The magnificent view of the valley includes Multnomah, a famous 620 feet falls.

Next stop is Portland where we will visit the International Rose Test Garden, which was built in 1917 for the worldwide rose experiment. You can see always see new types of roses growing here. Last stop is a gorgeous church, The Grotto.

From Jan 1, 2018, your itinerary on Day 2 will be:

Visit Olympia, the capital city of the State of Washington, to see the state house. Travel north to Columbia River Gorge in 40 miles to the east of Portland. The Columbia River is the 4th largest river by volume in the nation, flows inside the Rocky Mountains. It coves and runs for 1000 miles along the border of two states, Oregon and Washington. The magnificent view of the valley includes Multnomah, a famous 620 feet falls. Our next stop is to see salmon fish migration. Ballard locks fish ladder (21 steps) is the biggest fish ladder among Northwestern America. Visitors will see the amazing moment of life. Next stop is Portland where we will visit the International Rose Test Garden, which was built in 1917 for the worldwide rose experiment. You can always see new types of roses growing here. Later we will visit The Grotto. With 62-acre green space of fir trees, colorful rhododendrons and other native plants, The Grotto is an inviting destination for all as an internationally-renowned Catholic shrine and botanical garden. A circular path which is called Stations of the Cross near the parking area leads visitors to the 14 bronze bas-relief sculptures. The heart of the shrine is Our Lady’s Grotto, a rock cave carved into the base of a 110-foot cliff.

Summer Schedule
After breakfast, we will drive along the West Coastline where you can enjoy the view of Pacific Ocean and the coastline. Florence Beach has been called the “North American Sahara Desert”. You can take a special sand buggy ride(own expense, subject to availability) within the dunes of the beach. Then visit the Sea Lion Cave(own expense, subject to availability) which was eroded by the waves and the formation began about 25 million years ago. Sea Lion Caves is America's largest sea cave and the year-round home of the Steller sea lion, but sea lions are not always in the Cave. They are wild animals so these protected animals come and go as they please, as is their nature. Also you can learn more of their nature and habitats.

Winter Schedule
After Breakfast, we’ll go to Oregon Garden, which contains more than 20 different gardens inside. The beautiful gardens are worth to visit. For guests attend this tour during 4/1/2017-4/30/2017, you can choose to pay $10/person (fuel surcharge) to visit new seasonal attraction -- Tulip Farm. The tulips are from 14 different species and have large amount of colors. There are beautiful scenes of flowers in the farm, also there are variety of activities to attend.

Winter Schedule
Today we will be back to Seattle, with passing through Neptune State Park, which is located beside the endless ocean; then, head to the Astoria town to visit famous Astoria Column. The next destination will be Tacoma, Washington—the place Chinese President Xi has visited for 7 times. Here, we will travel the Tacoma America's Car Museum. The museum has a 500 car gallery showing cars remarkable for their speed, technology and design, as well as their importance to car culture.

Today we'll get to explore the wonderful city of Seattle!

We'll begin with a tour of the Future of Flight Aviation Center to learn about the history of Boeing, the largest aircraft manufacturer in the world (admission not included). At its factory you will learn the history of aircraft design and a professional Boeing employee will guide you through the assembly process you to see the assembling process of the Boeing 7-series.

Afterwards we'll head to Pike Place Market, which holds up to 200 commercial events every year, exhibits 190 kinds of handcrafts, and includes 120 agriculture senders plus street performers. This is also the site of the first Starbucks store.

Then we'll visit the Space Needle, the famous and iconic observation tower of Seattle. Here you can take a trip to the top to see the fantastic Seattle skyline (admission not included, subject to availability). On top of the tower you can use a telescope to gaze over the amazing view of not only Seattle city but also Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier. 

Chihuly Garden and Glass(available in 2017) is an exhibit in the Seattle Center showcasing the studio glass of Dale Chihuly. The project includes three primary components: the Garden, the Glasshouse, and the Interior Exhibits. All the exhibitions are so fascinating and breathtaking. It is definitely worth to visit.

You can also surprise yourself by experiencing the most advanced hologram technology, the Experience Music Project (admission not included). The museum was founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen and designed by Avant Garde designer Frank Gehryhe. Formerly called the Experience Music Project and Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame, the museum is dedicated to pop culture. Its colorful appearance is made up by 3000 pieces of metal presents the strength and beauty of music. During this visit, you can see the earliest electronic guitar made in 1930s, play games in the Science Fiction Museum, and see the NFL championship trophy.

Finally, we'll see Pioneer Square, which has maintain the prospery of the gold rush area with beautiful Victorian structures that were built over a hundred years ago.

Seattle - Olympic National Park - Seattle

Olympic National Park is a national park located in the Olympic Peninsula, WA. The park consists of four regions: the Pacific coastline, alpine areas, the west side temperate rainforest and the forests of the drier east side. With nearly one million acres, Olympic national park encompasses several distinctly different ecosystems and protects a rich mosaic of natural and cultural history. It protects 73 miles of wild Pacific coast. Tide pools, sandy beaches and rocky cliffs can all be found here. At the center of the peninsula are the majestic glacier capped Olympic Mountains. Hurricane Ridge, over a mile high, offers spectacular views of mountains, wildflowers, deer, black bear, and other wildlife. (If we can’t drive to the Hurricane due to the bad weather, we will go to the other attractions in Olympic National Park)The 10-acre natural lake, Lake Crescent, located at an elevation of 600 feet is a pristine area that provides visitors with an extraordinary place for recreation and relaxation. Only a few places of interest allow the automobiles to enter the natural beauty. There is a wealth of outdoor activities with over 900 miles of trails traversing the vast interior of the recognized wildness. When going back to Seattle, you can take the Bainbridge Island ferry to enjoy the breathtaking views of Seattle’s coastline. (In case of ferry delays or cancellation, we will drive back to Seattle and refund ferry fee of $10/person.

Tips:
If we can’t drive to the Hurricane due to the bad weather, we will go to the other attractions in Olympic National Park.
