Summary of The Day: Sarajevo, the capital of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has been influenced by a number of cultures and civilizations throughout its long history. On your city tour, visit the Turkish bazaar Bas Carsija, Husref Bay's Mosque, the Olympic Stadium and Gavrilo Princip Museum.
You'll have the afternoon and evening free to do as you please.
Summary of The Day: Drive through the gorge of the Neretva River to Mostar. Here, we'll see the remains of the Turkish Quarter and the 16th-century stone bridge.

Summary of The Day: We'll depart Dubrovnik and travel north along the spectacular Adriatic coast to Split. Enjoy a city tour featuring the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Plus, see the remnants of Split's Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter's Temple, the Peristyle and the cathedral.
Summary of The Day: After breakfast, we'll head to Trogir - the center of artistic activities. Scholars from around the world gather here to study and paint. Then, we'll turn inland and travel to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Then, have your camera ready and as you take a walking tour around several of the lower lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder of 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation.
Summary of The Day: We'll return to the coast and travel along the beautiful bay of Kvarner to its popular resort, Opatija. After some free time, journey north into Slovenia. Next is Postojna, home to one of the largest caves in Europe. Tour the fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Afterward, continue to Bled, beautifully set in the Julian Alps.
Summary of The Day: A sightseeing tour of Bled features the charming town and the lakeshore, and a visit to the imposing Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake.
You'll have the balance of the day at your leisure. Perhaps, you can take an optional excursion, visiting the small island in the middle of the lake.
Summary of The Day: Today, we'll travel to Ljubljana - the capital of Slovenia. Visit the most significant sights of the old city center including the picturesque open-air Central Market, the Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall and Robba's Fountain.
Then, the tour will continue to Zagreb - the capital city of Croatia.
Summary of The Day: This morning, enjoy many historic city highlights such as Upper Town, St. Mark's Church, St. Catherine's Church, the Cathedral, the Parliament and the Government Palace. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the winding streets of the old town or take an optional excursion to the countryside.
