Fisherman’s Wharf/ Information Center- Stop #1
Hop On or Off at: Corner of North Point & Taylor St.
Once home to San Francisco's fishing fleet, the old factories and warehouses that once dotted the wharf have now been converted into great shops and restaurants. Highlights include the Cannery at Del Monte Square’s shops and restaurants, San Francisco Maritime Historic Park at Hyde Street Pier and Aquatic Park; the famous Cable Cars on Hyde Street hill; and Ghirardelli Square, a chocolate-lovers paradise.
Cow Hollow- Stop #2
Hop On or Off at: Lombard Street at Gough (in front of the Town House Motel)
A convenient stop for hotels on Van Ness and Lombard, you’re walking distance from Lombard Street “the crookedest street in the world."
Golden Gate Bridge- Stop #3
Hop On or Off at: South Vista Point
Enjoy great views of San Francisco’s skyline, Alcatraz Island and the Golden Gate Bridge or walk the span of the bridge over the entrance of San Francisco Bay. This is also where you can join the Sausalito Loop.
Golden Gate Park/ California Academy of Sciences- Stop #4
Hop On or Off at: Concourse Drive, in front of the Academy of Sciences (Sundays and Holidays: 8th Ave. & Fulton)
Here at the Music Concourse and Cultural Heart of Golden Gate Park see the De Young Museum, the California Academy of Sciences, the Botanical and Japanese Tea Gardens. Boat rentals are available at Stow Lake.
Haight Ashbury- Stop #5
Hop On or Off at: Haight Street at Stanyan (in front of McDonald’s)
Eclectic district, famous for its role in the 1960’s Hippie Movement, is still a center for bohemian culture. It is lined with one-of-a-kind shops, trendy cafes, bars and restaurants.
City Hall- Stop #6
Hop On or Off at: McAllister St.
Featuring the Beaux-Arts City Hall with its massive gold leaf covered dome, the War Memorial Opera House, Davies Symphony Hall, and the Asian Art Museum.
Hilton Hotel- Stop #7
Hop On or Off at: Corner of Taylor and Ellis
This stop is walking distance to Westfield Shopping Center and Market Street’s Muni and BART stations.
Union Square- Stop #8
Hop On or Off at:Geary Street at Powell (across from Macy’s)
Visit the Central Shopping and Theatre District. It features department stores, upscale boutiques, art galleries, salons, grand hotels, and repertory theaters. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit Westfield Centre and the Cable Cars.
Chinatown Gate- Stop #9
Hop On or Off at:Grant Street at Bush – across from Chinatown Gate
Go through “The Dragon Gate” entry to Chinatown and into the bustling community beyond. Also nearby, San Francisco’s very own quaint French Quarter.
Barbary Coast/Chinatown- Stop #10
Hop On or Off at:Kearny Street, between Clay & Washington (across from Portsmouth Square)
This is where Chinatown meets the Financial District and the Barbary Coast.
North Beach/Little Italy- Stop #11
Hop On or Off at: Columbus Street at Powell
Enjoy cultured cafe’s, restaurants, and gelaterias or walk to Coit Tower, Lombard “the world’s crookedest” Street and Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral.
Alcatraz Landing- Stop #12
Hop On or Off at: On the Embarcadero - Between Pier 35 and Pier 33
This stop is the departure point of the ferries and tours to the infamous Alcatraz Island.
Pier 39/Aquarium of the Bay- Stop #13
Hop On or Off at: Pier 39 pullout (during special events corner of Beach & Stockton across from “F” Muni stop)
Fisherman’s Wharf’s number one destination with restaurants, souvenir shops, San Francisco’s world-class aquarium and the San Francisco Sea Lions.

We went from San Francisco to Las Vegas and to the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam and back. My cousin organized our trip this summer through Tours4Fun and we had no problems. The bus pass is a 48 hour pass good from the time started until the same time in 2 days, with buses frequenting stops every 20/25 minutes. Regretfully, we do not have an exact number as to how many buses are in operation.
The buses run on schedule daily from 8:30am to 5pm.
