San Antonio

A San Antonio Explorer Pass is a multi-attraction pass that includes admission to your choice of 3, 4, or 5 San Antonio attractions for one low price.

Buckhorn Saloon and Museum and Texas Ranger Museum
These two museums share adjacent spaces in the same building, and complement one another nicely in a holistic exploration of Texan culture and history.

The Buckhorn Museum traces its heritage back to the late nineteenth century, when the founder of the Buckthorn Saloon began to collect bones, antlers, and other natural artifacts from travelers passing through the neighborhood. Today, this natural history museum boasts more than 500 distinct species of wildlife, from an astonishing 10,000-year-old prehistoric elk to hundreds of small horns and antlers.

The newer Texas Ranger Museum fleshes out a portrait of frontier America with its homage to early Texan history. Featuring collections of Texas Ranger artifacts from weapons and munitions to badges and clothing, this museum is a must-visit for fans of Texan heritage and the days of the wild frontiers.

Natural Bridge Caverns - Discovery Tour
Go on an underground walking adventure on the Discovery Tour to explore the fascinating natural rock and cavern formations that make up the Natural Bridge Caverns. You’ll get up to 180-feet below ground and travel through a half mile of the largest and most extensive cavern in the San Antonio area.

Your knowledgeable tour guide will provide scientific insight, fun facts, and history dating back to the Cretaceous period, when geologists theorize that a warm, shallow sea covered much of Texas leaving behind all the layers of limestone. Due to various factors, these layers eventually eroded, resulting in all the unique, natural formations you’ll see, including stalagmites, stalactites, flowstones, chandeliers, soda straws, and more.

Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, you’ll need traction on the steep, wet surfaces—and don't forget to bring a camera!
